When the tampering alarm is triggered (it is triggered when someone tries to break into the doorlock, such as trying to pry open the cover with a jemmy or screwdriver) an audible alarm will sound and a red light will flash behind the numberpad. Notifications will also be sent to the account owner telling them that somone is attempting to break into the lock. See video below.
