To unlock Digital Keys 5G IoT smartlocks during the date/time you have been given a digital key for by the smartlock owner, you need to open the Digital Keys app on your phone (and make sure you have switched on NFC in phone's settings). You then need to hold the back of your phone within 2-5 centimetres of the middle of the numberpad, and then wait a second or two for the lock to wake up and to unlock (it's like paying with a credit card/phone and a POS machine), sometimes you may have to move slightly to find the sweet spot for the exchange of the data.

To lock the smartlock again you need to press 2C. You can do this at anytime after you have unlocked.
